we, took family pictures

waited that long to close on a house, living on faith (i.e. packing up a borrowed truck with boxes before we'd heard we'd actually close that night) more to come on that fiasco..

being so so thrilled about having our key and being in!

shaved our beards. one of us was thrilled.

painted said house. in 3 days. with unfathomable help from parents and these kiddos. and also we worked our butts off.

took pictures in front of our house. because...house. also: bought in july. closed in snow. happy happy happy..

adopted a dog

 found a birds nest in our dead bushes

 fed the sisters- one of whom looked like lindsay roylance from my murray library days. it was uncanny.

had hours of help to fix our fireplace, from my buddy matt. thanks, music store, for the connections

and, naturally, facetimed all my loves.

 this was twinner mealtimes. liiiiittle thing: i was eating breakfast. him: lunch.

it's been a whirlwind few months, but life couldn't be better! more on mamute, christmas, and the house later.
