lamoille is the closest thing we have to utah's gorgeous mountains. jordan and i decided to take advantage of a beautiful saturday and drove up the canyon and hike it

i'm so lucky jordan is the most patient and will stop to let me grab my phone out of his backpack (that has our water--i have to carry nothing) and snap pictures to my heart's content...!

seriously jaw dropping beauty

it was a fun, easy hike-- except my guts decided to churn in the middle of it. and the fact that we forgot to bring snacks and we hadn't eaten lunch either didn't help the fact. luckily water and rest we made it to the finish!!

which was totally worth it.

next time we'll be bringing our raft and just paddle around.. because--how awesome would that be?? (oh. and lunch)

it was perfect cool weather. and we ended up running into like 3 different families in our ward/stake--crazy! and fortunate, to have one of them offer to take our picture

love this handsome mountain man. he also happened to promise me lunch at jj's bbq once we made it back down. i don't think i've ever run faster down a mountain...

holy cow, the ribs and garlic fries were  A M A Z I N G. come visit us. we'll take you out--our treat. and i ate it all. that's how hungry i was.
