aaand then we went right back to utah. for a competition

dave had to head back to georgia, but derek and edon were at broughs for the month of july! so we got to see them some more when we headed back for jordan to compete with his cousin katie in the retro games. edon tried on 3 generations of wedding dresses! because they're all at her mom's house. 

also everyone congregated in the hallway right outside the bathroom while i did autumn's hair..! and i loved it.

we got to see kendree one more time before she headed back home. sure love that girl!

we went to the mall for some reason with julie and edon. we had to take a minute to just rest for a minute because we'd browsed everywhere! and the kiddos were done.

next day the competition started!

they only got a couple minutes to rest between sets because they finished the first round faster!

and then they had to sprint up this giant steep hill with a 20lb sandbag.

jordan dropped his! but then booked it up to make it 4th.

next day, i just loved how adorable this little girl's set up was. oh, crossfit children. ipad, movie, leg crossed, blankie. katie helped me creep a picture.

brent julie edon and the kids made it just in time to see jordan start his round this morning...! it was so so  s o  close to wire i was thrilled they made it!

unfortunately, my anxiety kicked in again, with a vengeance, so i had to spend the majority of the competition outside the giant garage door where a cooler breeze was blowing and i could breathe. luckily i caught some photos of them lifting, and brent and braedon got lots of what i missed.

i caught a ride home with brent and julie and slept off my sick and by the evening i felt much better. we met kendree trev and logan at the park!

it was a fun last hoorah.

we had to head out the next morning, and even though it was so early sunday morning, we woke up to this. this sweet dad. he is always there to see us off.
when we moved to pennsylvania, when we moved to elko, when we head home after a visit to sl... i love him so much. he is the greatest.
