ss party

max licked mandy's leg one day when we were facetiming. and i died. but that has nothing to do with our sunday school party.

and that's what this post is about! we challenged our kiddos to finish the book of mormon in 6 months and we would have a pizza party. the end of 6 months fell on the last day of school! and they did it. well, about half of them did it. finished the book.

but we still invited everyone. :) and rescheduled about 5 times. but it finally happened in the middle of june! we had papa murphy's pizza, and cookie bars, and carrots, and water, and played ladder ball (or goulding golf, as the gouldings call it. hahaha)

and catch phrase. it was lovely weather, albeit somewhat windy. and i was wearing a skirt. i think i stayed appropriate. just a couple marilyn monroe moments is all.

and there was some roundhouse kicking, too. but all in all we had a really great time..! we just really love our class. in case anyone has missed the memo.

we also had a nisbet join us, because she was there for a cub scouts event at the neighboring pavilion... and so we let her play. but just look at these kids...!

we just have the most fun all the time. if i could, i would probably hang out with them everyday. just look at em!

they are so smart, so good, so hilarious, and so 15-16. discussing dating woes and the thrills of driving. pretend like i don't look like a crazed lunatic attempting to appear candid.

they all have their own personalities and strengths and beauties. and i am probably going to cry when they graduate our class.

i think teachers should just follow their kids as they grow older... ;) and this clancy.... ohh, this clancy. he reminds me in SO many ways of my little brother. i just wanna squeeze 'im!!! i love him. and he's probably a good deal weirded out by that. but i'm over it.

i think we need to have more out of church parties with these cool cats. just for the halibut. 

the church is the greatest. i love my callings!
