meeting baby sam

prepare to be inundated with pictures of adorable babies.

the day after we got home from tahoe i headed to brigham city to meet baby sam and help mand for the week while paul was gone on a business trip!
holy cow. i was so sick of the car. but it was the world's greatest week. i'm serious. like ever.
homeboy wasn't ready to see me when he woke up from his nap. so we just all snuggled and rested
and i got to enjoy meeting this little bundle of joy...! seriously. so handsome!
and ate cupcakes. while still half asleep
the rest of the week looked much like this

and every morning looked just like this.

gorgeous sunsets
soo much digging in the rocks
and facetiming daddy in kansas
when we had to show him cannonballs: "1, 2, 3, tannonball!" (jumping off the couch onto the floor...)

our mornings were like this

and our evenings looked like this

"let's look at the dy"
"oh no! you're stuck in the mud. need me to get you out taye?"

and gramma came to visit! we chatted and held the baby while mandy and max slept

we had a hard time finding out mom and dad left us with aunt kelli...
but then i got it under control.

my dear friend ginger posted this. and it happens to be the most pertinent thing for me right now..!! it was great timing. and you can't tell me whatever you're going through it doesn't apply to you right now.

i'll give you a minute to wipe your heart back up off the floor.
sam is my dream homework buddy.

and this happened, too! working on the potty training. it's still a work in progress. but oh man i love that little kid.

and nothing melts my heart more than little loves sprawled in bed. i want to freeze these moments in time. and bring him home with me.
it was nothing exciting that happened. but it was one of those weeks that i'll remember forever.
sisters are the world's greatest. but adorable nephews are even better. thanks for having the best babies sis. and letting me come spend forever with you.
